DC's Rodriguez, Bonhi's Kirkpatrick on '22 TGCA all-state v'ball teams

Two Fannin County seniors have earned all-state status in volleyball from the Texas Girls Coaches Association for 2022.

Bonham hitter Alli Kirkpatrick received the honor for the second -straight season in 3A. She will continue her volleyball career at Angelo State University as a setter.

Setter Brianna Rodriguez garnered the honor in Class 1A after helping Dodd City this fall win the District 19-1A title and reach the regional quarterfinals in the sport for the second time in the last three seasons.

Each honoree equated one of only 50 selected per the six classifications.
