DC, Savoy to meet again in baseball bi-district round

Dodd City and Savoy will face off again in a Region II-1A bi-district baseball best-of-three series.

The series will begin Friday, May 5, with a doubleheader at Dodd City, beginning at 4:30 p.m. A third game, if needed, will be Saturday, May 6, at 2 p.m. at Savoy.

Dodd City swept the same-round same-format series last spring against Savoy en route to its fourth-consecutive Region II-1A baseball final appearance.

Dodd City (13-3) advanced this spring as District 12-2A's top seed to the Class 1A playoffs.

Savoy secured 11-2A's No. 2 seed this spring to the 1A playoffs.
