FFA INFORMATION

Dodd City FFA - TX is having their annual Fresh Country fundraiser from now until September 24th. Please show your support by clicking the link below, then select Organization Name, and the Student you wish to support.

Fannin County Fair


Fannin County Fair Livestock Show Entries are all online this year. Parents can follow the link and create a profile, then add exhibitor/exhibitors, then sign exhibitors up for whatever events they are going to participate in during the Livestock Show. (This Includes Ag. Mechanics and Floral)
I am attaching a link to the Showman App which can be accessed on a phone or computer. You can also go to the Showman App website and search Fannin to find the show entry portal. Entries must be complete by Sept. 18th. Students must be an active member of FFA or 4H to participate in the Fannin County Fair Livestock Show. Also, Students not passing at the 6 week grade check will become ineligible and will not be able to participate in the County Fair Livestock Show.


MEMBERSHIP

FFA Membership is also due by Sept. 18th. I will have membership forms available and both Mrs. Dockery and Mrs. Walker will have membership forms available. Cost is $20.00 for high school members and $10.00 for Jr. Members
( If you need to pay for membership with a check, please make checks payable to Dodd City FFA)
FFA Membership (grades 9-12 and students enrolled in an Ag. or Floral class)
Jr. Membership (grades 3-8)

HORNET BLOOMS

ARRANGEMENT OF THE MONTH CLUB

 HORNET BLOOMS ARRANGEMENT OF THE MONTH CLUB IS BACK! 
Love fresh flowers AND supporting our students?  


Join the Hornet Blooms Arrangement of the Month Club and enjoy a beautiful, student-created fresh floral arrangement every month for 9 months, beginning in September! Your membership directly supports our Dodd City High School Floral Design students as they practice their skills and gain hands-on experience.

 Here’s the scoop:
 9 fresh floral arrangements — one each month
 $150 for the entire year — only about $16.50 per arrangement!
 DC ISD employees will have their arrangements delivered
 Other members will be contacted for pickup, or arrangements can be sent home with a JH/HS student
 ONLY 30 SPOTS AVAILABLE!

 Forms and payment are due September 18, 2026. Checks should be made payable to Dodd City ISD and may be turned in to the high school office or Mrs. Jones.
Our students get the opportunity to learn, create, and grow their floral design skills—and YOU get fresh flowers every month! 
It’s a win-win!
 
Space is limited to the first 30 participants, so get your form turned in early!

Fannin County Pageant

The Fannin County Fair Association is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Fannin County Fair Queen Contest. We would greatly appreciate your help in sharing this opportunity with students and families within your school district.
This year's Queen Contest includes several exciting prizes, including a $1,000 scholarship, a guaranteed spot in the Fannin Youth Leadership Program, a shopping spree at BB Stylehouse, and additional prizes from local sponsors. 
Important dates include:
  • Mandatory Contestant Meeting: August 18 at 6:00 PM at Vidal Aesthetics in Downtown Bonham. 
  • Entry Deadline: September 18 at 5:00 PM.
