My name is Angie Freeman, and I am honored to be the District School Counselor for Dodd City ISD, serving all students PreK-12th grade.  My passion is serving students as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally; while helping them discover their strengths, build confidence, and navigate each year through school.  I believe every child deserves a safe, encouraging space where they can feel seen, heard and valued.  I am committed to working with families, teachers, and our community to help all students be successful and work towards their highest potential.  It is truly a privilege to get to walk alongside students from their first days in school and progress through high school.

ACT INFORMATION

The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. It assesses a high school student's readiness for college and provides colleges with a common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.

When is the ACT Offered?

The ACT is typically administered in the spring each year. Many high school students take the test during their junior year, as this timing allows them to incorporate the results into their college applications.

Scheduling Your ACT Test

In addition to the spring testing schedule, students have the flexibility to choose from multiple test dates throughout the year. To accommodate various schedules and planning needs, the ACT is usually offered several times annually.
